With 8 900 000 admissions in 2023, the Louvre is officially the most visited museum in the world. It is also the largest: it would take several months to see its 38,000 works divided into 80,000 m² of exhibition space! To make sure you don’t lose your head in this labyrinth of treasures, follow the guide!

You might be tempted by pushing the visit a bit further to discover other iconic works of art:  From the Hammurabi code, oldest legal codeband the Egyptian antiquities, to the Crown jewels or the French masters of the 19th century including the Raft of Medusa by Théodore Géricault or Liberty leading the people by Eugène Delacroix.

Admission tickets

Admission tickets are not included in the price as visitors under 18 can go in for free and Museum pass holders just need to register a time slot online. 

Tickets are time-stamped and nominative. With a licensed guide, you are allowed to enter in a special group entrance where we will stand in line due to security measures and crowd control measures.
