Made to measure

Going from Palais Royal, the ancestor of shopping malls, we stroll through 19th C. romantic covered passages while talking about the making of Paris as a modern city. Hidden in the maze of streets, these arcades offer a delightful promenade through the right bank of Paris.

Created in the 19th century to emulate the arcades of the Palais Royal, they are a haven for pedestrians who can indulge in window shopping (lèche vitrine), We finish the walk in front of Garnier Opera House.

Start by rummaging through vintage books and postcards and then finish your experience having a coffee or a meal away from the busy streets.

In the heart of the city and yet remote from its busyness, this is the perfect invitation to do what Parisians do best, flânerie : simply wander and soak up the moment.
