The highlight of our visit to Paris.  – Paris is a city of limitless and fascinating complexity. We sought a tour of one of its largest and oldest landmarks, the Louvre Palace, as an approach to exploring 800 years of the city’s history. The Ecole du Louvre-trained Sandrine Voillet was the obvious choice to guide us; we could not have chosen better. Mme. Voillet took pains to prepare a tour customized to our particular interests. Her presentation was exhaustively-researched, engagingly-presented and thoroughly-enjoyable. It was the highlight of our visit to Paris.

  The Louvre with an expert guide  – Just returned from Paris and one of the highlights was a Louvre tour with Sandrine Voillet. Originally there were to be 6 participants, but due circumstances, there were only 2 of us. So the tour was even more exclusive.

A well-known art historian, Sandrine gave us an excellent perspective of the art we viewed. Her knowledge and history of the paintings and sculpture was saw, gave us a more meaningful experience. The Louvre is overwhelming in size and scope; I do not know how anyone can self-guide without an expert like Sandrine.

  A wonderful tour of the Left Bank & Sorbonne with Sandrine  – If you’re looking for a guide to take you around Paris you simply can’t do better than Sandrine! From the moment we contacted her she was extremely friendly and helpful, discussing options and making suggestions before we chose a tour of the Left Bank/Sorbonne area that was less well known to us.

Sandrine is really knowledgeable and showed us many places that we wouldn’t have discovered without her. We just had a lovely, fun time with plenty of conversation and laughter along the way.

We love the series on Paris she did with the BBC – and when we found out she did private tours we grabbed the chance. We strongly suggest you do the same.

  Sandrine Voillet: Musee D’Orsay, Marmottan and Orangerie tours  – We love museums but are aware that they can overwhelming and exhausting.

Sandrine took us on a magical mystery tour of some of her favorite works in the Musee D’Orsay – and the next day an exploration of Claude Monet at the Musee Marmottan and the Orangerie. Despite some crowded galleries she was able to navigate us to the front of the various paintings she wanted to describe. Completely knowledgeable, her enthusiasm is infectious and energizing. She also has a great sense of humor.

We had a wonderful time with Sandrine.

  Excellent custom tour of the Louvre  – Sandrine Voillet was exceptionally knowledgeable about both the art collection and navigating around the huge Louvre museum. I was traveling with my 83-year-old father, who I pushed around the museum in a wheelchair. She showed us so many highlights during our two-hour tour – we would have never been able to see so much, with such intelligent and insightful explanation, on our own. Definitely worth it.

  Best Louvre Experience! – Our time at the Louvre with Sandrine is one of the highlights of our trip. She custom designed a tour of the Louvre based on our requests and navigated through a very crowded museum to see everything we requested plus much more, providing insight on the artwork, architect and history along the way. Her charming personality made our experience so enjoyable. Can’t wait for the opportunity to book with her again!
